We spent a week in creede, lovely little town and very easy to stay entertained for cheap. We were on our way out of town and someone suggested to stop here for the best burgers in creede. We had to come check it out and I’m glad we did. A bunch of older folks running a restaurant the way a restraint should be run, very old fashioned. Great food awesome restaurant and very nice folks. Good prices too. Come here if you’re needing a greasy food fix

we were recommended to come here by a really nice gentleman, Jack, at the Creede Museum! it’s so tasty! an authentic old school dining experience for a reasonable price! we got a cheeseburger, grilled cheese, onion rings and fries for two of us and it was sooo filling! great friendly folks. if you want some delicious greasy food...this is the spot! plus they have lots of interesting things to look at while you dine! we arrived at noon on a monday in the end of august, and there was no wait! cash only, but they do have an atm.

If you drive past this place without stopping, you’ve made a mistake. The interior is interesting but a little dated, but the food and service more than make up for that. Grab one of their 1/3lb cheeseburgers with grilled onions and pickles and enjoy the fresh hand formed beef patties on a perfect bun. Ask for the waffle fries or the onion rings and a fountain drink and take a step back in time when people cared about serving great simple food for a fair country price. You can sit inside or outside on the covered porch but I recommend outside on a good day. Enjoy the lively chatter of happy diners as you dig into your delectable Freemon’s burger.

Great little side of the road General Store that also has a grill and ice cream shop. The food was off the charts tasty with a grease spoon kinda feel. The double cheese burger and beer batter fries were cooked to perfection! Highly recommend anytime you are visiting Creede.

Heard the burgers were good, but they were GREAT. Actually some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Nothing here we didnt like - the waffle fries were my favorite but also loved the regular fries and onion rings. This will be a new tradition spot to eat for lunch every time we come to Creede!

Great place to relax and enjoy some of the best burgers and fries and/or onion rings anywhere around. You can dine in, on the deck or get it to go. Food is fresh and delicious with a great staff to boot. Bathroom was clean and neat and there are snacks, sodas, area books and tourist info in the store. Don’t forget there is also an ice cream area past the bathrooms and also some fishing items for sale.

As always, best burger and ice cream in the valley!! Don't forget the fries and onion rings. I love the salted caramel espresso one. You have your choice of fountain drinks, and fresh condiments for your burger are to the right of where you pick up your food. They are remodeling so it's a lot bigger with more seating. They do have take out. Plenty of parking. Enjoy

The burgers here are phenomenal! They're all cooked fresh to order, have tremendous flavor, and are massive. It was so good, I came here for lunch both days I was in town! They have tons of sides, from waffle fries to onion rings which were both delicious as well. Keep in mind the sides are larger and can definitely be split between two people. A cheeseburger is only 8.50 and well worth the price. There can be a line during lunch and it can take 15min to get your food, but it's worth the wait! There really aren't too many spots like this left. My father remembers when they built the store in the early 90s and he used to hang out with the Ellison's, the family that owned this spot for decades. All in all, definitely stop in for lunch, grab some burgers and ice cream, because it will def hit the spot!
